The Synergists meetings are for members and their guests only. The group has individuals representing many business areas and since we are a networking group - we have only one individual per business area, so membership is restricted for the benefit of all the members.

Membership Process

In order to assure a professional approach to adding new members, please follow the following steps in inviting someone to join the Synergists group.

1. Send an email to the group with the persons name, qualifications, and the business area that they represent. At the next meeting the members will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss the "fit" of that person in the group - Is this a business area we think should be part of the Synergists, is there a conflict with an existing members area, etc.

This also allows other members to nominate individuals that they know in that business area.

2. If the group approves the fit, you may invite the person to the next meeting. Prior to the meeting, the guest should provide you with a bio that you will send to the current members. At the meeting, the guest should do a brief introduction of themselves and their business area.

3. At the following meeting the group will make a decision on that person's membership. If there are multiple nominees, the decision will be made after the group has met all of the people nominated.

The Synergists are nondiscriminatory. The decision will be made only on the criteria of the fit of the business and skill set for the group.

Other Protocols:

  • Only one nominee at each meeting
  • Only one representative from each company (except for an introduction to the group)
  • You do not chose your replacement should you leave the group
  • Attendance is critical - If you cannot make a meeting, please send a representative
